Long Time No Blog...

Well it has definitely been a LONG time..
now that I have extra time on my hands with Brandon being deployed I guess I should get back into the swing of things and keep you all updated!
This is how we keep in contact.. Through the beautiful thing called Skype. I am not sure who invented this but THANK YOU.. I get to see my handsome husband everyday thanks to you!!

When I am not waiting for Brandon's calls I am still running my daycare and beyond that I have picked up some extra duties. I am coaching little league soccer and teaching dance two nights a week. I'm not bored that's for sure. I definitely miss my sweetheart though. The nights are the worst! :(

Brandon Has also been working hard at staying busy.. He is taking school classes and some extra curricular activities such as Tae Kwon Do.. He recently received his YELLOW belt which he was very pleased about:) This is a picture of him and Master Yun..
I will work a lot harder at keeping my blog updated! My life is somewhat more exciting now that we are living both in Utah and Korea!

Slacker...

Well I have been a BIG HUGE slacker on this blogging thing.. So here are some things we have been up to..

1 - Me being sick all the time. Being around little kids all day everyday will really do ya in. I think I have caught everything there is to catch. Which should be good for next year my immune system should be made of steel! :) Here are of list of things I have come down with FYI..

.....Strep throat (with no tonsils.. go figure)
.....Pink eye
.....The most horrible stomach virus on the planet
.....All sorts of fun viral rashes
.....Ear infections
.....Sinus Infections
.....and my all time favorite Hand Mouth & Foot disease. (the most horrible of them all!)
2- Brandon got put on a new shift at work he now works 3PM-11PM .. So I spend a lot of time with my friends and their families tagging along.. So lucky I have great friends:) I haven't quite figured out if I like this new shift. I do like having him home during the day though. He helps a lot with the kids and they ADORE him!Brandon & Charlie (they are best buds)
3- I have a new obsession.. ARMY WIVES.. I literally count down the seconds til I can watch it!

4-
Tate, Max, & Lola are about to have another little brother this summer. We love them all so much! We can't wait to have another one. We are hesitant to have our own cause what if they aren't that cute! Lola still has her Unkie wrapped around her finger!

She is so precious..
Anyway I am sure I will probably get sick again or something special will happen that I can blog about so I will try to be better!

Happy Birthday Babe!

Happy Birthday to this Handsome Guy!

Couldn't imagine my life without you.. You are my best friend. You truly are my better half. Always level headed and able to think things through which i'm not so good at sometimes. You are SOOOOOO handsome. You take pride in your personal appearance and your overall health. You are such a hard worker both in your job and at school. You never ever hang up the phone with out telling me that you love me. You dream of someday being a dad. Which I have no doubt you will be an amazing one. You rarely ever complain. You help me around the house even though I know your just as tired as I am. You are more than I could have ever imagined. I can't believe how lucky I am every day. You are amazing. I am truly blessed to have you as my husband!
Happy Birthday!
I LOVE YOU! :)

DayCare Funnies...

I am bombarded daily by surprising funny and probably somewhat embarrassing (if their parents knew) things every day by my daycare kids. Their ages range from 6 months to 7 years old. It keeps me laughing and it so much fun. I thought I should start documenting some of it so I don't forget. I am sure all of you will enjoy it also! :)

2 year old girl says: "Knock Knock".. Who's there.. Banana..Banana who?...Banana in a jar! She falls on the ground laughing and continues telling the joke over and over. I have made tally marks and we are at 23 times just today!

3 year old boy says: (when Brandon walks in the door) "Hey Miss Whitty your son is home!" I immediately made an appointment with the Botox doctor! :)

7 year old boy says: ( while in car, going over a bump..All the kids laugh and say that made their tummies have butterflies) " That made the thing below my tummy tickle .. If ya know what I mean"

2 year old girl : (my hair was curly) Your hair looks like worms .. I guess there is a reason I wasn't born in the 80's

5 year old girl : "Miss Whitney why don't you have any kids?" Me: I don't know..just haven't had one yet.. 5yr: Well it looks like your baby is almost ready (as she rubs my tummy) Me: Crying.. LOL

2 year old girl : " I love daddy" Me: I bet you do.. Daddy's are so nice.. 2yr: "Yeah Mommy always picker on him!!!" (while she shakes her finger)

5 year old girl to 7 year old boy: (boy in bathroom with door closed) Girl: "hello! whats taking so long?" Boy: "I'm trying to go to the bathroom!" (she waits..He comes out) Girl: FINALLY! Boy: Geez it felt like that thing took an hour to come out!"

7 year old boy: "I'm really lucky Miss Whitney ya know why?" Me: Why? "Cause my mom has taken me to eat at Mcdonalds for 5 days in a row!" (right in front of his mom.. She blushes:)

IDream Prompt #1

IDream-
Of someday becoming a mother. I know at this point in our marriage my husband and I are not quite ready to have a baby but we are both very excited to become parents one day.

From a very young age my grandma informed me that she was a mother of 13 children. Since that day I decided 13 it is! I wanted to be just like her in every way. I thought that being able to have 13 babies was pretty amazing. Now that i'm a little older I still think it's amazing and that she is probably the best mother I will ever have the chance of knowing but I also realize that it's probably not a realistic dream anymore, but I won't let that stop me from wanting children.

The dictionary defines a mother as someone who has given birth to a child. Being a mother means so much more to me. It's hearing that heart beat for the first time, to waking up in the middle of the night to comfort them, hearing them say mommy and sooner or later helping them learn to walk.

The miracle of life is so incredible. I can't even grasp what truly takes place. I just know that the feeling of holding that little piece of Brandon and I is going to be the best thing we have ever done.

So here's to you my precious unborn dream; We can't wait to welcome you into our family someday. We can't wait to kiss your little nose and hold you in our arms. We promise to try and be the best parents that we can for you.
We love you!

Love,
Me
